Nicola Maund Photography and Poetry

Welcome to my site!

My name is Nicola Maund and I am a UK based photographer and graduated at the University of Creative Arts, where I studied BA (hons) Photography and Media Arts. I specialise within the supernatural style of photography. My aim within each of my photograph’s is to capture mystery for my viewers. I enjoy using dark and deathly techniques to intervene with the outcomes of my images and challenge the viewers mind and perception.

For me photography is a spiritual act, it is an inner desire to abstract essence beyond the material world. I’m interested in something which is built up from within the soul and mind.

Throughout my gallery you will recognise that The Forest and The Ocean both represent a spiritual connection to myself as a photographer. There will be a gallery dedicated to each style of work so please sit back and enjoy!
